Q. Where did the Yo!Bots® connect and when?
A. Late one night in April, 2011, at New York's Techno Tone Recording Studios! Hi-Tex, editing a track in Studio A, waited as Motor City Crank, Techno Tone's techie bot, made repairs. IBD1-4U was hanging, hoping for free studio time. Lazeria delivered a Saturn Burger from Bot Burger for owner Rodriguez, so she could audition as a studio vocalist. Barrymore, arriving, saw gorgeous Lazeria and followed her into Studio A to show off his Cali-style rhymes. You know IBD1-4U had to answer with a B-Boy jam! One thing led to another, and it was a bot battle for the mic, with Crank and Hi-Tex adding their flavor. Of course, Lazeria jumped in with some John Blaze hooks! And the rest was technistory!
Q. How did Crank get his name?
A. Short for Crankshaft. A Detroit Automotives assembly line bot tagged him, saying young Crank always got everyone all wound up!
Q. Where did IBD1-4U get his pet, Yo!Mutt?
A. In a junkyard, of course! IB tuned up a discarded robot toy, and programmed his new buddy to answer to Yo!Mutt.
Q. Who got the byte for the Yo!Bots®' name?
A. Rodriguez, owner of Techno Tone Recording Studio, after hearing everyone shouting yo! during a heated debate over what name to pick.
Q. How do the Yo!Bots® lube out when they're not performing? A.IBD1-4U plays electronic games with his true blue hum homey, Kid Circuit. As a high tech ADC, IB's got a bit of an edge over any human. But Kid's a mega techno computer whiz as well as a death-defying competitor. Besides, IB and Kid are hyperlinked like brothers.
Lazeria loves cruising in her pink pick-up truck; she also drives a mean custom rig in local stock car races whenever she's down home in Georgia.
Barrymore spends all his free time with the ladies 'cause he's magnetized by every cute chipette he meets.
Crank's got a workshop where he builds stuff like outrageous custom housing for his bot friends. He doesn't mention it, but he also downloads all kinds of 'heavy' books.
Well, everyone knows Hi-Tex is into practical jokes, but would you believe this rocket bot is also crazy about rodeos?! Must be a Texas thing.
Q. What's down the road for the Yo!Bots®?
A. The Yo!Bots® want to do a movie about their scary real-life adventure with a twisted cybernetic villain known as CyberWac.
Q. What do the Yo!Bots® think is mega important for the future of the world?
A. RECYCLING!!! Every bot on this planet needs raw materials like metal, plastic and glass to survive. As celebrities, the
Yo!Bots® try gettin' on everyone's circuits about it! (See below) |
