| Bots: cool, hybrid, self-invented cybots – they were the first generation of artificial intelligence robots to design themselves and claim independence. Scientists dubbed them Auto Determined Cybots or ADCs. But everyone else just called them bots. Promoting themselves as truly unique individuals, bots prided themselves on the originality of their outrageous 'housing' and competed with each other to show off the most advanced on-board technology. By 2011, it was no surprise that bots were the hottest thing on the pop scene. |
